1. Notification of the Software Update

The Supercomputer Systems have been updated upon the completion
of the year-end maintenance work started on March 27, 2017.
This update includes the followings:
New Versions of the Software
Changes in Default Versions When Configuring Modules

2. The result of Satisfaction Survey (2017 spring)
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
We have carried out a satisfaction survey (2017 spring) regarding
the use of our supercomputers for the period from March 1, 2017
to March 29, 2017 and received 91 answers.
Based on the survey results, we will strive to improve our service quality.

3. Call for Application of FY2017 Service Course (2nd Stage)（Reposting）
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
We are calling for the application of service course for FY 2017 in the following schedule.
Please note that we may ask you to adjust the amount of resources that you request
depending on the situation since each course has its limitation in available computing resources.
We appreciate for your understanding and cooperation.

Training content：Lecture on how to use the supercomputer, and the basics and the tuning of programming on the large scale parallel computation

Training content：Lecture and hands-on training on XeonPhi programming

5. File assets of non-continuation users（Reposting）

We will delete files of non-continuation users of FY2017 from June 2017.
Please migrate and backup necessary file assets by the end of May.
File assets to be deleted or organized are as follows.
○Home Directory of non-continuation user
○Large-volume disk space which non-continuation group of FY2017 possess
