         -Large-scale job course (from October to November)

    Application period: From Fri. September 1 to Wed. September 20 at 5:00 p.m.

and the improvement of the programming skills for users.

We accept changes of the payment item of the usage fees for personal course, group course, private cluster course

and large-scale job course in the following manner.

If you wish to change the payment item, please finish the procedures within a period.

 

Deadline for changing Wed. September 13, 2017 at 5:00 p.m.

4.    Billing of the usage fee for FY 2017 OctoberReposting

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

Billing of the usage fee for FY 2017 is scheduled in October, January and March.

The billing of October will be charged in the following manner.

 

1)      Deadline for changing the payment item and the billing month is Wed. September 13, 2017 at 5:00 p.m.

and the contract after the date will be charged in January.

 

2)  If you cannot pay by the due date because of the procedures of your contract,

please contact to the Research Information Section beforehand so that we can bill it in January.

 

As for the "Uneihi koufukin" (運営費交付金) of Kyoto University, the bill will be determined on September 13

although the budget is expected to be transferred later.

Please note that you cannot change the payment item after the bill is determined.

In case that you need to change the billing month for any reason, please contact us via e-mail.

Please fill in the following requirements and enter “changing the billing month” in the subject line of the e-mail.

  - Applicant's name (Payment manager)

  - Applicant's affiliation

  - Billing month which you want to change to (Example: January)

  - Reason why you want to change the billing month

5.    Call for Collaborative Research Project for Enhancing Performance of Programming for FY 2017 (3rd Period) Reposting

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

Academic Center for Computing and Media Studies, Kyoto University (ACCMS) calls for proposals

of the Collaborative Research Project for Enhancing Performance of Programming for FY 2017.

This project is designed for users of the Group Course or Private Cluster Course

(including under application), as well as the Personal Course users

who are going to switch to the Group Course at the additional calls of this project.

Submitted proposals are reviewed by "Supercomputer System Collaborative Research Planning Committee" of ACCMS.

The programs adopted by the committee are carried out to enhance the program performance in collaboration with ACCMS.

ACCMS bears the cost of the program development.

 

Application period:  From Mon. July 10, 2017 to Fri. August 25, 2017 at 5:00 p.m.

6.    Call for Collaborative Research Project for Large-Scale Computation for FY 2017 (3rd Period) Reposting

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

Academic Center for Computing and Media Studies, Kyoto University (ACCMS) calls for proposals

of the Collaborative Research Project on large-scale computing programs for research groups

that uses the supercomputer system through group course or private cluster course (including under application) in FY 2017.

Submitted proposals are reviewed by "Supercomputer System Collaborative Research Planning Committee" of ACCMS.

As for the adopted proposals, ACCMS bears the usage fee of the large-scale job course within a certain amount.

 

Application period:  From Mon. July 10, 2017 to Fri. August 25, 2017 at 5:00 p.m.

7.    Call for Collaborative Research Project for Young /Women scientists for FY 2017 (Additional Offer) Reposting

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

Academic Center for Computing and Media Studies, Kyoto University (ACCMS)

additionally calls for Collaborative Research Project for young researchers (including students, regardless of sex)

under the age of 40 as of April 1, 2017 and women researchers (regardless of ages).

Submitted proposals are reviewed by "Supercomputer System Collaborative Research Planning Committee"

and superior proposals are selected.

ACCMS bears all or the partial amount of the system usage fees of the selected proposals.

 

Application period:  From Mon. July 10, 2017 to Fri. August 25, 2017 at 5:00 p.m.
