1. Scheduled Maintenance

Due to scheduled maintenance, our supercomputer services will be suspended as below:

〇Date and time: 9:00 a.m. on Tue. June 5 - 9:30 a.m. on Wed. June 6

〇Services to be suspended: System A, B and C, ENVI/IDL licensing, HPCI account services,

Large-Format Printer, and User Portal

2. Call for Application of FY2018 Service Course (Additional)

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

We additionally call for the application of the FY2018 Service Course in the following schedule.

Please note that we may ask you to adjust the amount of resources

that you request depending on the situation since each course has its limitation

in available computing resources.

We appreciate for your understanding and cooperation.

3. Notification of the Programming Seminar 2018（Reposting）

At the Academic Center for Computing and Media Studies, Kyoto University (ACCMS),

we are regularly holding programming seminars for the efficient use

and the improvement of the programming skills for users.

4. File assets of non-continuation users（Reposting）

We will delete files of non-continuation users of FY 2018 from June 2018.

Please migrate and backup necessary file assets by the end of May.

File assets to be deleted or organized are as follows.

○Home Directory of non-continuation users

○Large-volume disk space which non-continuation group of FY 2018 possess

5. ACCMS seminar "Verbalization of Data and Thought"（Reposting）

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

Academic Center for Computing and Media Studies (ACCMS) holds a seminar

once in a month.

We are inviting active researchers from a variety of areas,

and ask them to give talks about their research activity or issues in performing research,

hoping to provide an opportunity for fruitful discussion among participants.

On an ACCMS seminar at May 30, we invite Prof. Hiroya Takamura of

National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology

/Tokyo Institute of Technology and Dr. Hirotaka Kameko of

Academic Center for Computing and Media Studies, Kyoto University.

We hope to have a lot of participants.
