1.     Notification of the Software Update

The Supercomputer Systems have been updated upon the completion

of the year-end maintenance work started on March 27, 2019.

Newly introduced software information and changes in configuration files

are described.

2.     The result of Satisfaction Survey (2019 spring)

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

We have carried out a satisfaction survey (2019 spring) regarding

the use of our supercomputers for the period from March 1st, 2019

to March 29, 2019 and received 70 answers.

Based on the survey results, we will strive to improve our service quality.

3.     Call for Application of FY 2019 Service Course (2nd Stage)Reposting

We are calling for the application of the service course for FY 2019 in the following schedule.

Please note that we may ask you to adjust the amount of resources that you request

depending on the situation since each course has its limitation

in available computing resources.

5.     Request for file backups for users who end the use of the supercomputer service at the end of FY2018Reposting

Users who end the use of our supercomputer service at the end of FY2018

are required to back up their files themselves.

They cannot login to the system after the service termination,

however, file migration (scp, sftp) will be available until the end of May.

6.     Release of ACCM Bulletin Vol.17 (2018) No.2 (Inter-University Services)

We have published ACCM Bulletin Vol.17 (2018) No.2 (Inter-University Services).

7.     ACCMS seminar "Visualization and analysis of psychology"Reposting

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

ACCMS holds a seminar once in a month.

We are inviting active researchers from variety of areas,

and ask them to give talks about their research activity or issues in performing research,

hoping to provide an opportunity for fruitful discussion among participants.

 

At ACCMS Seminar on April 22, 2019, we invite Specific Assoc. Prof.Yasuo Ebara

(Academic Center for Computing and Media Studies, Kyoto University) and

Prof.Masako Myowa (Graduate Schools of Education, Kyoto University).

 

We hope to have a lot of participants.

External participants are also welcome.
