1. Service suspension for the maintenance at the end of the fiscal year
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
The supercomputer service of FY2019 will be terminated as below.
After the completion of the maintenance work to switch to the new fiscal year,
services of FY2020 will start from 9:30 a.m. on Fri. April 3, 2020.
Please note that we will cancel the remaining jobs of the supercomputer
at the time of the service termination.
We appreciate for your understanding and cooperation in advance.
〇Date and Time：From 9:00 a.m., Mon. March 30, 2020 to 9:30 a.m. Fri. April 3, 2020
〇Services to be Suspended：System A,B and C, ENVI/IDL License Service, HPCI Account Service,
User Portal, and Large-Format Printer

2. Request for file backups for users who end the use of the supercomputer service at the end of FY2019
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
Users who end the use of the supercomputer service at the end of FY2019
are required to back up their files themselves.
They cannot login to the system after the service termination,
however, file migration (scp, sftp) will be available until the end of May.

4. Supercomputer Continuation Application to the following FY2020（Reposting）
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
We will send "Supercomputer User List" listed users name of this fiscal year
to the payment managers in late January.
It is possible to make a continuation application easily by checking
"continuation" or "discontinuation" in the "Supercomputer User List" and returning it to us
by the deadline if there is no change in the application contents.
If there is a change in the application contents, please note that
an " Application Form for Large Scale Computer Systems" (計算機利用申請書) must be submitted.
The deadline for the continuation application shall be at 5:00 p.m. on Fri. February 21, 2020.

*** Notes ***
○ Although the procedure is possible even if you miss the deadline,
it may not be in time for the start of the service in April.
Please keep the deadline.
○ By making the continuation application, we continue registration of
the user number (login ID) as an entry course.
If you use group course or personal course, it is necessary to submit
a "Service Course Application Form" (サービス申請書).
Please make sure to apply.
○Previously, we had mailed the notice for the continuation application to users as well,
however, the mailing notice to users has been abolished since last year.
Please share the notice and information directed to the payment managers with related users.

5. Call for Application of FY 2020 Service Course (1st Stage)（Reposting）
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
We call for application of the FY2020 Service Course starting from April 2020
in the following schedule.
This call is between fiscal years and details of the usage fees
and the application periods are different from the usual.
Please note that we may ask you to adjust the amount of resources
since each course has its limitation in available computing resources.
We appreciate for your understandings and cooperation in advance.
○Courses to be opened ・Application Period
Private Cluster Course, Organization Fixed Rate：From Tue. January 14, 2020 to Fri. February 14, 2020 No later than 5:00 p.m.
Group Course, Personal Course ：From Tue. January 14, 2020 to Wed. February 26, 2020 No later than 5:00 p.m.
Large-Scale Job Course (From April to June) ：From Tue. January 14, 2020 to Wed. February 26, 2020 No later than 5:00 p.m.

6. Request for submitting user reports of the supercomputer systems（Reposting）

In the research results obtained with the use of the large scale computer systems,
papers (including abstracts of papers) which were presented during this fiscal year
are required to be reported by one of the following methods.
Please report the unpublished ones as soon as they are published.

7. ACCMS Seminar "Graph algorithm"（Reposting）

ACCMS holds a seminar once in a month.
We are inviting active researchers from variety of areas,
and ask them to give talks about their research activity or issues in performing research,
hoping to provide an opportunity for fruitful discussion among participants.
At ACCMS Seminar on March 10, 2020, we invite Prof. Hirotaka Ono
(School of Informatics, Graduate School of Informatics, Nagoya University)
and Prof. Eiji Miyano (School of Computer Science and Systems Engineering
of Kyushu Institute of Technology).
We hope to have a lot of participants.
External participants are also welcome.
