1. Operation Start of the Cloud System
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
We are preparing to make the cloud system available from 11:00 a.m. on Wed. November 30, 2022.
We will inform you of the details, including how to use the system, as soon as they are ready.

2. Call for proposals of the Supercomputer Educational Use Project in FY 2023
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
Academic Center for Computing and Media Studies (ACCMS) calls for proposals of
the Supercomputer Educational Use Project for classes requiring the use of
supercomputer systems at graduate school, university, or technical college
which are conducted by instructors of university, junior college or technical college.
We are calling for the application of the Supercomputer Educational Use Project
in FY 2022 in the following schedule.
〇Application Deadline: No later than 12:00 on Thu. December 22, 2022

3. Operation Schedule of the New Supercomputer System and Call for Application for the Service Courses（Reposting）
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
We have been trying to move up the schedule to start the operation of the new supercomputer system,
however, it has become difficult to start the operation in mid-December.
We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience.
〇Operation Start of the New System B
Since it is difficult to provide the system in advance in December,
we will revise the schedule to start the trial operation in January.
We will operate the system with priority placed on the stable operation
during the trial operation period from January to March, 2023.
Details on how to use the system will be announced as soon as they are ready.

4. Call for Collaborative Research Project for FX700 "Trial Use" and "Small Node Use" for FY2022（Reposting）
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
ACCMS calls for proposals of the collaborative research project
for the “Trial Use" and the "Small Node Use" of the Fujitsu FX700
which is equipped with the same ARM processor as the supercomputer Fugaku
for research groups using our supercomputer with the Group Course in the fiscal year 2022.
The "Trial Use" of FX700 is intended to be widely tried by the users of our supercomputer
by making the application form simple.
The research report is also simplified and only operation report and performance report
of the executed application are required.
The collaborative research project for the "Small Node Use" will be adopted
from users who have already finished the operation confirmation of the application
on the "FX700 Trial Use". Submitted proposals are reviewed
by Supercomputer System Collaborative Research Planning Committee.
If your proposal is adopted, you will be required to submit a research report.
There is no cost burden for using this project.
Deadline for application submission: 5:00 p.m. on the 15th of each month
