1. Call for application of the Service Course in FY2023
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
We call for application of the service course in FY 2023 in the following schedule.
Please note that we may ask you to adjust the amount of resources
that you request depending on the situation since each course has its limitation
in available computing resources.
○ Application Period
From Mon. February 13 to Fri. March 10, 2023 at 5:00 p.m.
○ Systems to be offered
Personal course and group course of System B/C/G (only for forth priority type).

2. Presentation on the New Supercomputer System

3. Planned Revision of the Regulations for Usage Fees of ACCMS
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
The "Regulations for Usage Fees of ACCMS" are scheduled to be revised
as follows with an enforcement date on April 1, 2023.

Supercomputer users who end the use of the supercomputer service at the end of FY2022
are required to back up their files themselves.
They will not be able to login to the system after the service termination,
however, file migration (scp, sftp) will be available until the end of June.

5. Service Suspension for the Maintenance at the end of the fiscal year and Construction work（Reposting）
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
Our supercomputer service in FY2022 will be terminated
at 9:00 a.m. on Tue. March 28, 2023, for the maintenance work
at the end of the fiscal year.
Please note that all uncompleted batch jobs at the time of the service termination
will be deleted.
The service start in FY2023 is expected to be from May 1, 2023
due to the construction work of the cooling system.
We are currently finalizing the detailed schedule
and will announce as soon as it is determined.

6. Application for continued use of the Supercomputer Service（Reposting）
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
The "Supercomputer Users List" which simplify the application for the continued use
of the supercomputer service have been provided on the "User Portal" to the payment managers.
The deadline for downloading and submitting the user list is as follows.
Please complete the procedure within the following period.
Mon. January 23, 2023 - Fri. March 10, 2023

7. Request for Submitting User Reports of the Supercomputer Systems（Reposting）
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
Please report your published research results such as papers
(including abstracts of conference presentations) which you have obtained
by using the Large Scale Computer Systems of ACCMS in this fiscal year
in one of the following ways.
Please report unpublished papers as soon as they are published.

8. 【ACCMS Seminar】"Use of HPC to Meet the Needs of Our Times"（Reposting）
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
ACCMS holds monthly seminars inviting researchers who are active in variety of fields
to give talks about their research activity or current issues
and provide an opportunity to discuss them with participants.
At ACCMS Seminar on March 22, 2023, we will invite Prof. Hiroyuki Takizawa
of Tohoku University and Prof. Ryusuke Egawa of Tokyo Denki University.
We welcome participants from both inside and outside of the university.
We are looking forward to your participation.
