1.     Call for Application for the FY2023 Service Course (3rd Stage)

We call for application for the FY2023 Service Course (3rd Stage) in the following schedule.

Please note that we may ask you to adjust the amount of resources

that you request depending on the situation since each course has its limitation

in available computing resources.

We appreciate for your understanding and cooperation.

2.     Scheduled Maintenance

Due to scheduled maintenance, our supercomputer services will be suspended as below:

 

Date and time: 9:00 a.m. on Tue. June 13 - 10:00 a.m. on Thu. June 15

Services to be suspended: System B, C and G, Cloud, ENVI/IDL licensing,

                            HPCI account services, Large-Format Printer, and User Portal

4.     Debriefing Session of the Collaborative Research Results「地震前兆時における地表面プラズマ波による山岳異常回折の観測結果の検証」

ACCMS will hold a debriefing session of the collaborative research result

on Mon. May 29, 2023.

The debriefing session is for the proposals adopted as

a supercomputer collaborative research project in FY2022.

It will be held online and if you wish to attend the session,

please apply for at the following URL.

5.     Request for file backups for users who end the use of the supercomputer service at the end of FY2022Reposting

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

Supercomputer users who end the use of the supercomputer service at the end of FY2023

are required to back up their files themselves.

They will not be able to login to the system after the service termination,

however, file migration (scp, sftp) will be available until the end of June.

6.     Call for Collaborative Research Project for FX700 "Trial Use" and "Small Node Use" for FY2023Reposting

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

ACCMS calls for proposals of the collaborative research project

for the “Trial Use" and the "Small Node Use" of the Fujitsu FX700

which is equipped with the same ARM processor as the supercomputer Fugaku

for research groups using our supercomputer with the Group Course in the fiscal year 2022.

 

The "Trial Use" of FX700 is intended to be widely tried by the users of our supercomputer

by making the application form simple.

The research report is also simplified and only operation report and performance report

of the executed application are required.

 

The collaborative research project for the "Small Node Use" will be adopted

from users who have already finished the operation confirmation of the application

on the "FX700 Trial Use". Submitted proposals are reviewed

by Supercomputer System Collaborative Research Planning Committee.

If your proposal is adopted, you will be required to submit a research report.

There is no cost burden for using this project.

 

     Deadline for application submission: 5:00 p.m. on the 20th of each month

7.     ACCMS Seminar"Learning Analytics to Change Learning"Reposting

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

ACCMS holds monthly seminars inviting researchers who are active in variety of fields

to give talks about their research activity or current issues

and provide an opportunity to discuss them with participants.

 

At ACCMS Seminar on June 20, 2023, we will invite 4 researchers of

Learning and Educational Technologies Research Laboratory of ACCMS.

 We are looking forward to your participation from both inside and outside of the university.
