1. Call for Application for FY 2024 Service Course (1st Stage)

We call for application for FY 2024 Service Course starting from April 1st, 2024
in the following schedule.
Please note that we may ask you to adjust the amount of resources
since each course has its limitation in available computing resources.
○Courses to be opened ・Application Period
Private Cluster Course, Organization Fixed Rate：From Tue. January 30, 2024, to Mon. February 19, 2024, No later than 5:00 p.m.
Group Course, Personal Course ：From Tue. January 30, 2024, to Mon. February 26, 2024, No later than 5:00 p.m.
Large-Scale Job Course (From April to June) ：From Tue. January 30, 2024, to Mon. February 26, 2024, No later than 5:00 p.m.

2. Planned Revision of the Regulations for Usage Fees of ACCMS

The "Regulations for Usage Fees of Academic Center for Computing
and Media Studies (ACCMS), Kyoto University" are scheduled to be revised
as follows with an enforcement date on April 1, 2024.

3. Request for submitting user reports of the supercomputer systems

Please report your published research results such as papers
(including abstracts of conference presentations) which you have obtained
by using the Large Scale Computer Systems of ACCMS in this fiscal year
in one of the following ways.
Please report unpublished papers as soon as they are published.

Academic Center for Computing and Media Studies, Kyoto University (ACCMS)
calls for proposals of the Collaborative Research Project for Enhancing
Performance of Programming for the fiscal year 2024.
This call is designed for the research groups who use our supercomputer system
through the Group Course in FY 2024 (including those who are in application process)
or the Personal Course users who are planning to switch to the Group Course
at the next additional call for the application of the Service Course.
Submitted proposals are reviewed by "Supercomputer System Collaborative
Research Planning Committee" of the ACCMS. As for the adopted proposals,
the adopted users and the faculty members of the ACCMS will conduct
the joint research for enhancing performance of programming and
the ACCMS will bears the costs for program development, etc.

5. Call for Collaborative Research Project for Large-Scale Computation for FY 2024 (1st Period)
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
Academic Center for Computing and Media Studies, Kyoto University (ACCMS)
calls for proposals of the Collaborative Research Project for Large-Scale
Computation for the fiscal year 2024. This call is designed for the Personal Course
users or the research groups who use our supercomputer system
through the Group Course in FY 2024 (including those who are in application process).
Submitted proposals are reviewed by "Supercomputer System Collaborative Research
Planning Committee" of the ACCMS.
As for the adopted proposals, the adopted users and the faculty members of
the ACCMS will conduct the joint research and the ACCMS bears the usage fee
of the large-scale job course within a certain amount.
This project period is from April to Jun 2024.

8. Application for the continued use of the Supercomputer Service（Reposting）
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
"The supercomputer users list" which can be used for procedures
for those who will continue to use the supercomputer service in the next fiscal year,
will be available for download from the "User Portal" from Mon. January 15, 2024.
If you are a payment manager, you can download the supercomputer users list which
linked to your own budget and use it as an application form as it is.
The application period for the continued use based on the supercomputer users list
is as follows. Please complete the procedures within the following period.
Mon. January 15, 2024 - Thu. February 29, 2024

9. 【ACCMS Seminar】"Direction of Agricultural DX Development II"

ACCMS holds monthly seminars inviting researchers who are active in variety of fields
to give talks about their research activity or current issues
and provide an opportunity to discuss them with participants.
At ACCMS Seminar on March 6, 2024, we will invite Mr. Okihisa Oyama of
Kagawa Agricultural Experimental Station and Mr. Tadaki Miyazaki
of Nileworks Inc. to give talks.
We are looking forward to your participation from both inside and outside
of the university.
