1. Service suspension for the maintenance at the end of the fiscal year
ͺͺͺͺͺͺͺͺͺͺͺͺͺͺͺͺͺͺͺͺͺͺͺͺͺͺͺͺͺͺͺͺͺͺͺ
The supercomputer service of FY2023 will be terminated as below.
After the completion of the maintenance work to switch to the new fiscal year,
services of FY2024 will start from 10:00 a.m. on Thu. April 4, 2024.
Please note that we will cancel the remaining jobs of the supercomputer
at the time of the service termination.
We appreciate for your understanding and cooperation in advance.

Supercomputer users who end the use of the supercomputer service at the end of FY2023
are required to back up their files themselves.
They will not be able to login to the system after the service termination,
however, file migration (scp, sftp) will be available until the end of May.

3. Request for satisfaction survey

We are conducting a satisfaction survey for the supercomputer users
to respond to the needs of the supercomputer users more.

The "Regulations for Usage Fees of Academic Center for Computing
and Media Studies (ACCMS), Kyoto University" are scheduled to be revised
as follows with an enforcement date on April 1, 2024.

9. Application for the continued use of the Supercomputer ServiceiRepostingj
ͺͺͺͺͺͺͺͺͺͺͺͺͺͺͺͺͺͺͺͺͺͺͺͺͺͺͺͺͺͺͺͺͺͺͺ
"The supercomputer users list" which can be used for procedures
for those who will continue to use the supercomputer service in the next fiscal year,
will be available for download from the "User Portal" from Mon. January 15, 2024.
If you are a payment manager, you can download the supercomputer users list which
linked to your own budget and use it as an application form as it is.
The application period for the continued use based on the supercomputer users list
is as follows. Please complete the procedures within the following period.

10. yΏ~SC2023Kz"Symposium on Ancient Documents and Supercomputers"
ͺͺͺͺͺͺͺͺͺͺͺͺͺͺͺͺͺͺͺͺͺͺͺͺͺͺͺͺͺͺͺͺͺͺͺ
We hold a symposium with the theme of gsomething ~ supercomputers (SC)"
with the expectation that new joint research
will be born in the fields of "something" and supercomputers.
Now that computers are being used in variety of fields,
the way of the supercomputer center also needs to change.
It is necessary to create an opportunity to produce better results
and unprecedented results by having the supercomputer used in new fields,
not only by conventional users.
This time, we have chosen "something" as "ancient documents" and have a lecture
by a researcher who is conducting research on "ancient documents,"
which is not directly related to supercomputers.
We will discuss what we can do for each other in the research of "supercomputers"
and "ancient documents" and find out new possibilities.
