Install WinSCP by following [Installing WinSCP](/install/winscp). 2. Generate a public/private key pair by following [Generating Key Pair and Registering Public Key](/login/pubkey), and register the public key via the [User Portal](http://www.iimc.kyoto-u.ac.jp/en/services/comp/other/portal.html). ## How to Transfer Files on Windows{#procedure} 1. As shown in the above image (1), enter the Host Name corresponding to the System that you want to login. | System | Host Name (FQDN) | Notes | ------------ | -------------------- | ------------ | A (Camphor2) | `camphor.kudpc.kyoto-u.ac.jp` | Two login nodes help distribute the load. This is available to system A users only. | B (Laurel2) | `laurel.kudpc.kyoto-u.ac.jp` | Three login nodes help distribute the load. | B (with SAS) | `sas.kudpc.kyoto-u.ac.jp` | | C (Cinnamon2) | `cinnamon.kudpc.kyoto-u.ac.jp` | You can login to the same login nodes as the system B with automatically loaded the environment for the system C. 3. As shown in the above image (2), enter your User ID of the Supercomputer Systems. 4. Click the pull-down menu as shown in the above image (3), and select **Advanced** as shown in the above image (4). Select **Authentication** in the left side of the screen as shown in the above image (1) and click the button in the right corner of the **Private key file** input box as shown in the above image (2). And then, specify your private key file that you created for logging in to the System. 6. As shown in the above image (3), click **OK** to save the settings. 7. You are prompted to the same screen as the Step 1. Click “Login” as shown in the below image (1). ![](winscp_run-ver533_003_en.png) 8. You are prompted to the screen to enter your passphrase as shown image below (1), and then click **OK** as shown below image (2). After successfully logging in to the System, the WinSCP file-transfer screen opens in a separate window. Now, you are ready to transfer files on Windows. ![](winscp_run-ver533_004_en.png)
