Two-factor authentication login

  1. A login screen will appear. Enter your username and password, then press 'Sign In'.

  1. A one-time code will be sent to the e-mail address you provided when you applied.
  2. Enter the one-time code shown in the e-mail into the box below and click 'Authenticate'.
  3. If the one-time code is entered correctly, the next screen will appear. Click "Proceed to the TOTP settings.
    TOTP (Time-based One-Time Password) is a password that is generated based on time
    It can be used by installing a dedicated application on mobile devices, etc.
  4. Follow the on-screen instructions to set up the QR code, ensuring that the same code is generated on both the server side and the dedicated application.
    Both the server and the dedicated application by scanning the QR code from the dedicated application.

    5.1. Install the one-time password generation application on your smartphone.
    If you have already installed it, go to step 5.2.

    The following procedure uses Google Authenticator as an example.

    5.2. Open Google Authenticator, which you installed in step 5.1, and click the + icon in the bottom right corner.
    Click “Scan QR Code” and scan the QR code displayed on the screen above.

    5.3. A one-time code associated with your supercomputer account will be generated.
    Enter this code in the 'One-time code' field on the above screen.
    The device name field is optional. Enter a device name that is easy to manage.
    Click 'Submit'.

  1. Enter the code displayed on the app and press 'Sign in'.

2.Press 'Try Another Way'.

3.Select “Authenticator Application” to return to the one-time code entry screen.
If you select 'Email Authentication', the one-time code will be sent to your email address in the same way as during initial registration.
Refer to the “First time logging in” procedure.

  1. Log in to Open Ondemand and select 'Two Factor Authentication Settings' from the 'Help' menu in the top right-hand corner.
  2. The following screen will open in a new tab.
    Press the 'Delete' button next to the name of the device that you wish to remove from the Authenticator application.
